Delving into chests of long-forgotten heirloom lace, romantic floral slips and dreamy silhouettes ~ FLEUR is everything girly and everything but the damsel; designed to be glimpsed through sepia-tinted wingtip glasses. As if pulled from a dusty archive of film reels, pressing play to bring back to life these achingly dreamy pieces, they hint at boudoir sensibilities, tempered with an heirloom infused naïveté of custom paisley prints and fluttering sleeves.
In a truly French juxtaposition, the silhouettes skim the body with an undeniable femininity but are offset by floaty bohemia and whimsy. With cascading ruffles designed to gently follow bodily contours, along with waterfall sleeves and wide gathered straps, this collection is rich in romantic details. Delicate lace appliqué, self covered buttons and lush tassels, along with signature lingerie, complete this dreamy collection in soft colours and sepia tinted nostalgia.
The collection was made for the romantics, the collectors, the restless souls seeking beauty of the past ~ it is as much romantic as it is for the rebel: slips paired with leather, camis paired with denim, Liv Tyler-esque inspired leaning into 1930’s boudoir.
